There are not enough words that can properly explain what a phenomenal college counselor, and all-around person Cindy is. From the moment I met her, I knew that she was someone my family and I could trust, lean on, and value to guide us through the college admission process from start to finish. Unlike other college counselors that give you a package or set amount of hours, Cindy really takes pride in her passion for helping students and goes above and beyond to make sure that each student is confident and comfortable. Cindy will help each student craft a list of colleges, narrow it down to the top choices and work on every piece of the application process. Cindy has expertise in essay writing, searching for scholarships, understanding the FAFSA and more! Cindy has now helped two of my children painlessly and successfully apply and be accepted to college, and even though I am sure I could do it moving forward without her support, I won’t! My daughter Nicole and I felt we were late to the start looking for a college advisor. Nicole had just begun her senior year of high school and realized navigating the college application and admission process was going to be quite a challenge. Senior year of high school is already demanding with harder classes and a variety of senior activities. The pandemic added to the stress with distance learning, isolation, and anxiety. We were so lucky to have been referred to Cindy Goodman, owner of College Prep Plus.

Cindy worked with Nicole and I every step of the way. She provided guidelines, set goals, and checked in on us regularly. Working with Cindy was amazing! She is super flexible and attentive, which made my extremely (like, extremely) nervous self feel proud and content with my applications. Coordinating meetings was a breeze, and I appreciated her many check-ins that kept me on schedule.
